About Barbara DeLong and the Cosmic Deck of Initiation
Barbara DeLong has been a seeker of the mysteries of spirituality and a practitioner for over half a century, at least that’s what she will admit to. During that time, she has become an internationally known Podcast host, author, artist, lecturer, ordained minister and documentarian. She painted the Cosmic Deck of Initiation, a hand painted deck of Mandala cards to be used for private divination and spiritual growth and wrote the handbook that goes with the deck. Her book, Whispers of Spiritual Wisdom, contains poems of spiritual insight. In 2023 she co-authored Before Roswell, the Secret History of UFOs with Ken Goudsward. Her website, barbaradelong.com is a teaching site combining personal information and a plethora of spiritual information and insight.
The Cosmic Deck of Initiation depicts 52 vibrant energies in geometrical patterns. The use of mandalas enables us to understand the universal energies within ourselves.
There comes a time in every generation when consciousness shifts, and new paradigms and philosophies begin to expand into our realities. At those times new tools and modalities evolved into the culture to facilitate the further expansion of consciousness.
This deck was channeled as this new wave of consciousness crested and started to open the hearts and minds of the culture. The use of the ancient form of mandalas to express the spiritual energies of the transformation process brings the wisdom of the ancients forward in time to aide in the ascension process of the consciousness evolving to new levels of awareness.
The Cosmic Deck of Initiation is an inspired Light Energy deck that addresses the times and transitions that all of humanity is going through and brings a greater level of spiritual insight, wisdom, and understanding to a population whose level of consciousness has expanded beyond the liner into the multi-dimensional levels now available to all of us. To put it very simply, to shift the focus of humanity beyond the physical to encompass the spiritual as well.
The cards came through in three series of eleven, one of twelve, and then the wild cards to finish off the deck of 52. The patterns came through in a specific order, each building on the levels of the card preceding it. It was no surprise that the total number of cards in the deck equals the number of weeks in the year. Each series applies to a different level of evolution of spiritual and physical evolution, so it is important to realize where each card falls in the development of the deck.
